buildeco are currently in discussion with CRL to provide a ten year minimum cover period for Structural & Latent Defects Insurance on individual or housing projects, Insurance cover starts on the completion date of the property.
REASONS WHY STRUCTURAL DEFECTS INSURANCE ARE REQUIRED
- UK mortgage lenders generally require Structural Defects Insurance from a recognised provider before releasing funds. Outright purchasers or investors don’t require Structural Defects Insurance on a property.
