STRUCTURAL DEFECTS INSURANCE
buildeco are currently in discussion with CRL to provide a 10-year minimum cover period for structural and latent defects insurance on individual or multi-housing projects. Insurance cover will start on the completion date of the property.
REASONS WHY STRUCTURAL DEFECTS INSURANCE ARE REQUIRED
- UK mortgage lenders generally require structural defects insurance from a recognised provider before releasing funds. Outright purchasers or investors do not require structural defects insurance on a property.
